SOFT SKILLS / ESSENTIAL SKILLS

Soft skills, also known as essential skills, are skills which are desirable in all professions. These skills include critical thinking, problem solving, public speaking, professional writing, teamwork, digital literacy, leadership, professional attitude, work ethic, career management and intercultural fluency, among others. This contrasts with hard skills, which are specific to individual professions.

TEAM BUILDING

Team building is a collective term for various types of activities used to enhance social relations and define roles within teams, often involving collaborative tasks. It is distinct from team training, which is designed by a combine of every layer of the organization, to improve the efficiency, rather than interpersonal relations. A common strategy is to have a “team-building retreat”, where team members try to address underlying concerns and build trust by engaging in activities that are not part of what they ordinarily do as a team.

VIRTUAL TRAINING

Virtual training refers to training done in a virtual or simulated environment, or when the learner and the instructor are in separate locations. Virtual training and virtual training environments are designed to simulate the traditional classroom or learning experience.

MICROSOFT OFFICE TRAINING

Microsoft Office is a suite of applications designed to help with productivity and completing common tasks on a computer. You can create and edit documents containing text and images, work with data in spreadsheets and databases, and create presentations and posters.

PROTÉGÉ

The PROTEGE is a programme to support the Malaysian Government’s initiative to create a pool of competent, well trained, knowledgeable and skilled graduates through industrial attachment that will help them to attain relevant competencies that enhance their marketability and employability.

BUSINESS SIMULATION / GAMIFICATION

A business simulation is an experiential learning tool where participants learn by running a virtual business in an interactive, risk-free, and realistic environment. Business simulations games help practice and improve business skills, such as business acumen, financial and market analysis, operations, decision making, problem solving, teamwork, communication, and leadership. Whereas, gamification is the application of game-design elements and game principles in non-game contexts. It can also be defined as a set of activities and processes to solve problems by using or applying the characteristics of game elements.

ISO, OHSAS & OTHERS

The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) is an international nongovernmental organization made up of national standards bodies; it develops and publishes a wide range of proprietary, industrial, and commercial standards and is comprised of representatives from various national standards organizations.

OHSAS stands for occupational health and safety standard. The ISO certificate helps to improve your business credibility and authority as well as the overall efficiency of the business.
