INTRODUCTION

This is a customised programme to equip the Management team who is not from the HR background with a ‘hands on’ skill and approach in addressing employment-related issues at the workplace

Knowing the fundamentals of HR management will enable any manager to manage more confidently, effectively and efficiently.

An overview of what Malaysian Employment Law and Industrial Relations practices are expected from every Employer. The lack of knowledge in the subject matter often leads to a lack of industrial harmony and dispute that over the years can tarnish the employee-employer relationship.

OBJECTIVE
  • Have a better understanding of management and HR functions;
  • Be able to plan and execute strategic HR initiatives;
  • Be able to have a better understanding of the relevant labour laws;
  • Be able to manage employee indiscipline and poor performance.
METHODOLOGY

Industrial Court Awards and cases from the organisation shall form the basis of case studies. Presentation would be conducted in a lively and interactive.
