Problem Solving Using Analytical Thinking

INTRODUCTION

If we accept a problem as a gap between a current and a desired state, then problem solving can be defined as the process of making something into what we want it to be. That is, when we solve a problem, we transform “what is” into “what should be.” In today’s fast-changing world, environment doesn’t provide the luxury of waiting for serendipity, even for the most skilled minds. Rather, organizations need a way to think rationally and apply critical thinking process for issue resolution.

This course provides participants with the training and tools necessary to analyze problems in terms of objective and issues and developing solutions with a view towards outcomes. The program covers various state-of-the-art tools to analyze problems and generate Innovative and realistic solutions.

METHODOLOGY

This course is essentially participative and practical, emphasizing learning through experience, both from structured activities on the program e.g. role plays, group work, case studies, discussion from individual’s experience.
