INTRODUCTION

Project-based learning is a participant-centered pedagogy that involves a dynamic classroom approach in which it is believed that participants acquire a deeper knowledge through active exploration of real-world challenges and problems.

After the classroom training, the participants will work in a group in taking up, planning and executing a real-life project which involves their workplace improvement.

There will be also a self-reflection, assignment given to each of them to complete at a specific time, in order to complete the whole program. The assignments are connected to their understanding of the program and to guide them to plan for any future improvement to be undertaken after the program ends.

  • To instill the vital attributes of a leader and team relationship
  • To understand the required interpersonal skills for leaders
  • To understand the required conceptual skills for leaders
  • To understand the required tools that enhances the technical skills
  • To spark the right Mental Attitude so they can motivate and inspire other individuals or teams to excel.
  • To manage different personalities in a team.
  • To swing the mental model towards “Solution Consciousness” both in a normal or crisis situation.
  • To enable one to communicate effectively and empathetically.
  • To enhance the strategic thinking skills in order to win in the competitive world.
  • To use leverage and principles of effectiveness to produce outstanding results.
METHODOLOGY

This course is essentially participative and practical, emphasizing learning through experience, both from structured activities on the program, e.g., role plays, group work, case studies, discussion from individual’s experience.
