Agile Project Management

INTRODUCTION

In today’s project management practices, the predictive approach to project management is seeing less use whilst the Agile or the Adaptive approach is gaining a wider acceptance among practitioners due to its flexibility, approach, teamwork, leadership and customer involvement.

Keeping this in mind, the objective of this workshop is to provide the participants with knowledge and tools to apply agile principles and practices in their projects. Participants will be exposed to globally recognized practices of Agile Project Management and its terminology. It will also reveal the essential knowledge necessary to understand Agile or SCRUM and to provide choices on its applicability to the projects.

The content in this course is aligned with Project Management Institute’s® (PMI- PMBOKversion6®) Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP®) for SCRUM Master certification.

OBJECTIVE
  1. What is the Agile Manifesto?
  2. What are the main concepts and principles of Agile and SCRUM.
  3. Identify, Analyze and Engage Stakeholders.
  4. Identifying the roles and responsibilities of team members.
  5. What are Scrum tools and techniques.
  6. Understanding and using Terminologies: Kanban, Lean, XP, Burn down/up charts, retrospective meetings, sprints, iterations, storyboards, user stories etc.
